    I bought retail copies of Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 2. Seeing both haul some of the awards makes me one of the many proud owner of these games.

    dudes....i am a gamer before, now and forever...played atari, famicom, so forth till i got to the ps3....ok, so come on, there were games with more technological advancement than minecraft. Then the developers that didn't show up for the handheld award....come on, better than Metal Gear??? probably i just have a too direct taste of gaming, dunno...well thats my humble opinion. Besides that, very good and nice to see videogames get the spotlight they so rightly deserve, specially the developers. Kudos to all.

    Oh god...I'm only five minutes in and these jokes are abysmal. Like, seriously, awful. And no one is even laughing, which makes it even worse.

    how are they even able to let the judges rate it against the other indie games?

    they need to stop having random terrible comics, try & crack jokes at an awards show...
    they end up looking awkward & sounding stupid, as if no one in the room understands what their jokes are about or there relevance to why these jokes are even funny...
    they need to stick to telling jokes about celebrities & childhood humor...
    the indie games host looked terrified, with his constant heavy breathing & awkward jumpiness in finishing his punch lines...
    (i am not talking about Tim Schaffer, i think he was a good choice for being host, since he was actually funny)

    The host wasnt funny, it was kind of annoying when he would crack a joke and there would be complete silence. But the rest of the show was really cool. I think they made a little too much fun of the gaming audience when Indie games are all about showing respect to gamers needs for something different.

    spot-reviewer...actually in third world countries, we dont have any problem at all to view this. Yes, the flash 10 required message splashes across the screen, but it's just a bug, cuz the video keeps coming like nothing happened. "3rd world countries"....always wondered where or who the heck is the 2nd...

    ppl sorry bout my last post,
    lt of mistakes, I was trying to say that ppl here that are facing
    the 'requires flash player 10' problem, just download the video...
    cause both of it require the same data plan and speed.....
    exceptions if ur from third world countries......

    The IGF Winners this year were well deserved. Unusual that so many of them would already be released. Last year, we had to wait for Limbo and Super Meat Boy. Must say, it's nice not waiting.

    @Daian: I had that issue too (using Opera browser), simply had to reinstall flash. Don't know why it didn't work though.

    @lowkey254 call of duty isn't a good game it's a fun game but it's just not good, call of duty sold over 10million copies because of hype not because of how good the game is,and gaming websites gives call of duty good reviews just because they don't people to hate their website.
